Why is BIAB expensive?

You've probably noticed. For BIAB you pay more than for example Gellak. Why is this the case? We can tell you that the reasons for this are no more than logical.

First of all, BIAB is much more advanced to produce than other nail products. So it costs more money to produce BIAB.

Secondly, the application is more complicated than for example Gel Polish. More expertise is needed. Please note: This is only the case in the nail salon, where you pay approximately between €40 and €60 per manicure.

At SHATY we have developed BIAB starter kits , so you can do it all by yourself. For only €2.13 per manicure!

Finally, the durability of BIAB is something that makes BIAB so special. BIAB stays on for 2 weeks longer than Gel Polish, if you apply it correctly. Check out the blog about the differences between Gel Polish and BIAB here.

So BIAB is indeed a bit more expensive, but per manicure you are very much better off at SHATY compared to the nail salon. It is important to know that BIAB is a more sustainable product and therefore lasts longer.
